PROMETHEA (1999) #15 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Promethea #15
Promethea continues her journey through the Immateria, coming closer to her own origins than she could ever expected. Witnessing such wonders as a pantheon of gods playing chess with the fates of mortals and an infinite logic loop in the form of a roadway among the stars can have a profound effect on one's self-image. But in taking this journey with Promethea, the reader is invited by writer Alan Moore to explore not only the nature of stories (and by extension, comic books) but of human self-consciousness itself.

Meanwhile, back in Malkuth (the home city of Sophie Bangs, the mortal host of Promethea), entrepeneurial criminals like Jellyhead have arisen to menace the populace. It's a good thing Sophie turned over her Promethea power to her best friend. Or is it? After wiping out the city's villains, the new Promethea turns attention to its heroes and a confrontation with the traditional forces of "good" and "order" seems inevitable. Drawn with gusto by the very artistic J.H. Williams III.
