MICRONAUTS (1979) (#1-59) (MARVEL) #53 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Micronauts (1979) #53
"The Untouchables" is written by Bill Mantlo and drawn by Butch Guice. An alien planet in search of a culture imitates American gangsters of the 1930s: it's a fun theme that's been featured in the classic Star Trek series ("A Piece of the Action") and the Fantastic Four (vol.1, issues #90-93). The resurrected Baron Karza either enslaves the people he conquers, or those he doesn't destroy, he imprisons on Prison-World.

The Micronauts are desperate for allies in their battle against Karza. The warriors of Spartak and the Time-Travelers of the Enigma Force have sworn neutrality in the conflict. So Marionette, Bug, Acroyear and Huntarr must ally themselves with prisoners who have modeled themselves after Earth's gangsters. The Micronaut Mob is born!
