JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA (2006) (#1-54) #22 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Justice Society of America (2006) #22
Cover by Alex Ross. "One World, Under Gog Part VII - Thy Will Be Done" is written by Geoff Johns and Ross with art by Ross, Dale Eaglesham and Nathan Massengill. The Justice Society of America has rejected the divine gifts bestowed upon them and the world by the deity named Gog. Instead, they've listened to the warnings from the Superman from Earth-22 that Gog presages the beginning of the end of the world. Teaming up against the seemingly omnipotent being, the JSA manage to bring Gog down.

After severing his massive head from his shoulders, Superman and Starman carry the still-speaking Gog to the Source Wall where the ancient gods are imprisoned forever after they pass on. Heedless of Gog's curses, our heroes leave him there, but quickly after their victory, Superman realizes he can't return to the earth of the JSA. Instead, he asks Starman to send him to his home as devastated as it is. On Earth-22, however, Superman finds that contrary to what he thought he knew, all of his friends still survive despite what he thought was his failure to save them. And on the JSA's Earth, a new harmony reigns among the team-members.
