JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA (2006) (#1-54) #21 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Justice Society of America (2006) #21
Alex Ross cover. "One World Under Gog Part VI - Saints and Sinners" is written by Geoff Johns and Ross with art by Dale Eaglesham, Jerry Ordway and Bob Wiacek. Gog has come to Earth, grown seemingly from the rich soil of Africa, and is granting wishes. Fondest dreams are coming true through his godly power and he only asks for one thing in return: to be worshipped. Some members of the JSA have been recipients of his favors. David Reid has been remade from a mortal at the point of death into the extremely powerful Magog, for example.

However, even though half of the JSA thinks that maybe Gog isn't so bad, the other half believes him to be a sign of the end of the world. The Superman from the world of Kingdom Come is convinced Gog's presence ensures the nightmare that consumed his world will end this one as well. He's able to convince the entire team of JSA-ers that Gog's price for his miracles is too high and soon every JSA-er is banding together to take on the massive deity. But soon they learn that what Gog giveth, Gog can take away!
