Plot Synopsis: Justice League of America (1960) #101
Guest-starring the Justice Society of America and the Seven Soldiers of Victory. Cover by Nick Cardy. "The Hand that Shook the World" is part 2 of a 3-part saga written by Len Wein and drawn by Dick Dillin and Joe Giella. Earth-2 is in the grip of a cosmic hand that threatens to crush the planet. The mysterious Oracle has told the members of the JLA and the JSA that they must locate the time-lost members of the Seven Soldiers of Victory in order to have any hope of ending the menace of the gigantic fist.

Superman, the Sandman and Metamorpho find the mind-controlled Shining Knight leading the armies of Genghis Khan. Hawkman, the Earth-2 Wonder Woman and Dr. Mid-Nite find the Golden Age Green Arrow in the Sheriff of Nottingham's jail, having been mistaken for Robin Hood. And Batman, Starman and Hourman rescue Stripesy from an Egyptian pharaoh's slave labor camp. In the present, the Earth-2 Green Lantern, Mr. Terrific and the Earth-2 Robin deal with the environmental devastation caused by the colossal clenching fist and Earth-1 Wonder Woman, now bereft of her Amazon powers, faces the villain behind the crisis, the Iron Hand!
