JUDO MASTER (1966) #94 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Judo Master (1966) #94
Art by Frank McLaughlin. Charlton's master of martial arts is also one of comicdom's first kung fu heroes. Rip Jagger (the Judo Master), his sidekick Tiger and sensei Bushuri thought they had escaped the clutches of Commander Suzuki and his island-fortress full of Japanese warriors. But Tiger has been taken hostage by Mountain Storm, Suzuki's sumo servitor. Suzuki hopes to use the boy as bait to lure Judo Master into a trap, but the lad is too skilled and too fast to be held long.

Holding off the Japanese by convincing them he is ninja, Tiger is able to escape into the thick jungle beyond the Commander's encampment. Judo Master doubles back to the island but unfortunately falls into one of Suzuki's pit traps. When Tiger tries to come his aid, he too is captured. At the bottom of the pit Judo Master and Tiger must face off against a real tiger with Suzuki laughing at them from above! Also, see "Karate Man vs. The Bulls!" (art by McLaughlin and Dick Giordano) and Sarge Steel solves "The Case of the Devil's Wife." (story by Joe Gill and art by Bill Montes and Giordano).
