Plot Synopsis: Infinity War (1992) #2
Special tri-fold battle panorama cover. "Ethereal Revisionism" is written by Jim Starlin and drawn by Ron Lim and Al Milgrom. Mister Fantastic has called the super-heroes of Earth together to discuss a growing menace that threatens to replace each of them with an evil doppleganger. But even as the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men and the New Warriors gather together to hear Reed's warning, a horrific trap is sprung and a gamma bomb explosion seemingly obliterates each and every one of them.

Meanwhile, Thanos has recruited Warlock and the Infinity Watch in a new campaign to halt the evil plans of the Magus, Warlock's evil future self. In the Palace of Mistress Death herself, Thanos and the Watch quiz the all-seeing Infinity Pool for answers on how to defeat their foe. But the Magus is already two steps ahead of them. And what role will Kang the Conqueror and Doctor Doom, his ancestor, play in this unfolding drama?
