I, ZOMBIE (2010) #4 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: I, Zombie (2010) #4
"The Magical Memory Tour" is written by Chris Roberson and drawn by Michael Allred. Gwendolyn is a living corpse who must consume the brains of the recently deceased in order to maintain her appearance as a vibrant, beautiful young woman. The unfortunate side-effect of this ghoulish addiction is she receives all of the memories, emotions and final impressions of her meal. Unable to help herself she has tracked down the killer of her most recent repast, and discovers him to be a mysterious handsome stranger who sometimes wraps himself up like a mummy. Along with her ghostly friend Ellie she confronts the suave murderer in his home but Gwen finds she cannot resist listening to the man's incredible story.

In fact, through mystic means the stranger not only reveals his motives but also takes her into his memories of his home in ancient Egypt revealing to Gwen for the first time that she's not the zombie she thought she was. Instead, he says, she is a revenant, an inhabiting spirit that re-occupies its earthly body to carry out a righteous task left incomplete in life. Meanwhile, the monster hunter Horatio and his partner take down Claire, one of a nest of lovely vampire ladies preying on single men, but during the battle his thoughts constantly flow back to Gwen, the girl he's fallen for without a clue of her true and shocking nature!
