HULK (1962) (#1-6, #102-474, #600-635)(INCREDIBLE)(MV) #127 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Hulk (1962) #127
"Mogol!" is written by Roy Thomas with art by Herb Trimpe. No corner of the Marvel Universe is free from strife, not even the deepest bowels of the Earth. Witness the never-ending battle between the Moloid forces of the Mole Man and the Subterraneans commanded by Tyrannus, the immortal Roman Caesar, jealously guarding his legendary fountain of youth. Many times, these sub-strata sultans have employed pawns in their struggle against each other and at least once before, that included the incredible Hulk himself (Tales to Astonish #80).

Now, Tyrannus has a new ploy. He sends his most powerful warrior, a strange being known as Mogol, to the surface world to befriend the Hulk. But instead of allying himself with this underworld powerhouse, the Hulk sees Mogol as a threat and views his offer of friendship as a trick. The resulting clash rocks downtown Manhattan. Eventually the Hulk relents and joins Mogol and Tyrannus deep inside the Earth to battle the Mole Man. But who could've guessed Mogol's terrible secret that threatens to tear each of their worlds asunder?
