FOREVER PEOPLE (1971) #9 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Forever People (1971) #9
Guest-starring Deadman. "Monster in the Morgue!" is written and drawn by Jack Kirby with inks by Mike Royer. Boston Brand, the Deadman who haunted the world as a disembodied spirit in search of his killer, has returned; yanked back into the land of the living by the mad experimentation of "Doc" Gideon, a county morgue worker obsessed with re-creating Frankenstein's monster using sewn-together body parts. Now, the Deadman can only watch helplessly as the Forever People get dragged into Gideon's nightmarish plans.

At the home of retired carnival fortune teller Trixie Magruder, Mark Moonrider, Big Bear, Vykin the Black, Beautiful Dreamer and Serifan participate in a s‚ance; seemingly all for fun. Through the ritual, the Deadman is able to make himself heard but his warnings come too late because "Doc" Gideon has stolen one of Serifan's cosmic capsules and used it to bring his lumbering abomination to life! Also, don't miss the Golden Age Joe Simon-Jack Kirby classic adventure of the Sandman and Sandy versus "The Man Who Knew All the Answers!" (from Adventure Comics #74, May 1942).
