FLASH (1959) (#105-350) (DC) #172 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Flash (1959) #172
"Grodd Puts the Squeeze on Flash!" is written by John Broome with art by Carmine Infantino and Sid Greene. The Flash squeezed away to nothing by the Simian Sultan of Psychics? Say it's not so! It all begins one morning when Barry Allen realizes he's the slowest man in Central City. Iris, his wife, and everyone else in town is moving at super-speed. He's got to turn into the Flash just to keep up with them. He and his friend, Dr. Torrence, realize the city has less than a day to live as their accelerated pace is aging them rapidly.

Investigating further, the Flash finds a strange yellow barrier around the city that he cannot get through. Contacted mentally by Gorilla Grodd, the Flash is told the secret of how to exit the city on the condition that he free Grodd from his prison cell in Gorilla City. In return, Grodd will lift the mental spell he's put the people of Central City under but only if the Flash agrees to not try to recapture him. It's not long before Grodd is threatening the entire U.S. and demanding that he be named Supreme Ruler! Also, enjoy the mystery of "The Machine-Made Robbery," a story by Broome, Infantino and Greene about the absent-minded Professor West's ultimate computing machine!
