FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) (#1-416) (MARVEL) #99 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Fantastic Four (1961) #99
"The Torch Goes Wild!" is written by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott. Teenage romance is tumultuous enough without adding super-powers into the mix. Ever since he met her amidst the splendor and wonder of the Inhumans' Great Refuge, Johnny Storm has loved Crystal, youngest member of the Royal Family. It took the hot-headed hero months to be able to free her from a nigh-impenetrable force dome cast over the city by Mad Maximus, Black Bolt's own brother. And now it seems Johnny has lost her again.

Without waiting for back-up from the rest of the team, the Human Torch sets off across the ocean on his own, blazing a fiery trail across the Atlantic, over Europe and into the Himalayas where the Great Refuge stands. And after flying thousands of miles, dodging NATO jet fighters and evading Russian heat-seeking ground-to-air missiles, the Torch is no mood for interference from Medusa, Triton, Karnak or any of the other Inhumans that stand in his way. But what he didn't expect was Crystal's reaction to his sudden and violent appearance!
