"Our World ... Enslaved!" is written by Stan Lee with art by John Romita and John Verpoorten. Guest-starring the Sub-Mariner. Namor and Reed Richards are men torn between love and duty. With Lady Dorma and Sue (Invisible Woman) Richards held captive by the mutant master of magnetism Magneto, our heroes have to decide whether to save the lives of the women they love or the freedom of the nation. Magneto has the hordes of Atlantis under his thrall and is using them to occupy New York City, effectively removing the nuclear option from America's defense.

With President Richard Milhous Nixon breathing down his neck, Mr. Fantastic has to come up with a plan and quick. He sends Namor to swear fealty to Magneto as a way of keeping close tabs on the mutant terrorist. And then he puts his genius intellect to work on a weapon that will neutralize Magneto's power.
