CIVIL WAR: X-MEN (2006) #2 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Civil War X-Men (2006) #2
Written by David Hine and drawn by Yanick Paquette and Serge LaPointe. The escape of the 198 from the grounds of the Xavier Mansion has proven to be a catalyzing event for X-Men aligned on opposite sides of the Superhuman Registration Act controversy. Domino and Shatterstar have led the renegade mutants on a freedom run, aided by Captain America and his underground Avengers. Bishop has volunteered to head the superhuman force tracking them down for the Office of National Emergency (O.N.E.).

Cyclops, meanwhile, has recruited original X-Men Beast, Angel and Iceman to find the 198 to aid them. Meanwhile, Emma Frost has been captured by Sentinels under orders by federal agent Valerie Cooper. And although the President has extended amnesty for the 198, General Lazer has different plans for the runaway mutants. When Bishop carries the amnesty offer to the 198, Lazer uses a captive mutant with the terrifying power of control to turn Cyclops on Bishop with deadly force.
