AVENGERS: ORIGIN (THE ORIGIN) (2010) #2 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Avengers: Origin (2010) #2
"Faith-Based Initiative" is written by Joe Casey with art by Phil Noto. For all of his destructive power and anti-social behavior, it's ironic that the Hulk brought the Avengers together. While on a rampage through the American Southwest, the Hulk draws the attention of the military, the police and young Rick Jones, his only friend. Jones' call for help to the Fantastic Four has instead been answered by four new heroes: Iron Man, Thor of Asgard, Ant-Man and the Wasp.

And although these four don't know it yet, they'll soon join the Hulk to form the Avengers, a group of Earth's mightiest heroes devoted to putting down threats to mankind. Case in point, Loki, the God of Mischief and Thor's half-brother, who has manipulated events to draw the Avengers into conflict with old Jade Jaws. But before Loki's ruse can be uncovered, there's a lot of animosity floating around and it looks like the Avengers may disband before they even get a chance to form.
