AVENGERS: INITIATIVE (2007) #8 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Avengers: Initiative (2007) #8
Things continue to go roughly for the U.S. government's attempt to institute the 50-state initiative: placing super-hero teams in each state. Because there aren't enough super-heroes to go around, super-villains are recruited to fill in the gaps. Outfitted with brain-bursting nano-technology ready to go off at the first sign of rebellion, these former crooks are asked to fill the role of hero when called upon by the authorities.

Some super-villains, like Dragon Man, are just too unruly to rehabilitate so they are shipped off to prisons in the Negative Zone. Meanwhile, others, like Taskmaster are recruited as foot-soldiers or drill instructors. On his first day of the job, the one-time super-foe, who has all of the physical skill of Captain America and any other hero he's encountered, has to stop a battle between Yellowjacket, Stature and the new Ant-Man. Meanwhile, Hank Pym's decision to clone dead trainee MVP to help boost the ranks of the Initiative becomes the worst mistake of his life! "Killed in Action Part 1: Snafu" is written by Dan Slott and Christos N. Gage with art by Stefano Caselli and Danielle Rudoni.
