ALIENS VS. PREDATOR (DARK HORSE) (AVP) (1990) #1 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Four-issue series, color, 32 pages, $2.50 cover
First Dark Horse crossover between licensed properties. The plot begins with the first harvest of cattle-like creatures on a colonial planet. The company has sent in a new agent to supervise the round-up, and she winds up in an outrageous fight when both Aliens and Predators sudenly appear. It seems that the Predators had long been seeding this planet with Aliens for hunts. They procede as per usual, and suddenly discover that humans have altered the balance of power. Add to that a conflict within the ranks of the Predators, and you have some great entertainment. This very successful series was written by Randy Stradley. Issue number one had pencils by Phill Norwood, and inking by Karl Story. Cover art by Phill Norwood.
