Plot Synopsis: Thor (1962) #237
Cover by Gil Kane. "Ulik Unchained" is written by Gerry Conway with art by John Buscema and Joe Sinnott. The Lady Sif has given up her immortality and her individuality to merge with Jane Foster in order to save her life. Foster, loved by Dr. Don Blake (Thor's mortal alter ego), is now trying to adjust to her new life. But normal life in New York City unfortunately often includes armed robbery and a quiet lunch shared by Blake and Foster is interrupted by gunfire.

Calling upon the enchantment granted him by his Asgardian heritage, Blake transforms into Thor, the God of Thunder, and sets off after the thieves. As Thor handles the crooks quickly, he draws the attention of one who waits in the shadows. That someone is Ulik, the most powerful of the Trolls who have been the bane of Asgard for centuries. The powerful monster soon launches his attack on the son of Odin but the true target of his raiding party is Jane Foster!
