THOR (1962) (#83-125 JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY, 126-502) #147 - Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Thor #147
"The Wrath of Odin!" is written by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta. Talk about getting in trouble with your Dad! First, Thor is stripped of all of his Thunder God powers by Odin for being too concerned with the affairs of Earth. Then the Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime hypnotize Thor into helping them steal the priceless Golden Bull. Now under a hail of police gunfire, our hero must surrender himself to the wheels of justice to carry him where they will while the lovely Princess Python and the rest of the Circus of Crime make their getaway. While Thor wiles away the hours in a jail cell, his wicked half-brother Loki sees his opportunity to be rid of his sibling forever.

Thor is bailed out by a mysterious stranger who just blocks from the jailhouse reveals himself to be Loki, the God of Mischief. Bereft of his godly powers, Thor is assailed by the superior strength of Loki who tosses him about like a rag doll. Although Thor fights valiantly, the streets of New York are beginning to look like the Son of Odin's final resting place until Balder the Brave and Lady Sif defy Odin's orders and step in to halt Loki's attack. And boy does that really get Odin's goat! Also, the origin of mysterious Inhumans continues with "The Reason Why!" which traces the discovery of Attilan by a Kree Sentry, a creation of the same star-spawning race that created the Inhumans. Will the alien starlords like how their children have grown up?
