FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) (#1-416) (MARVEL) #353 - Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Fantastic Four (1961) #353
"So Little Time, So Much to Do!" Writer/artist Walt Simonson makes a statement about mindless government bureaucracy as he unveils a multi-dimensional group of clones devoted to monitoring and correcting the multiple time continuums that make up the Marvel Universe. With more than just a nod to Judge Dredd's Mega-City One, Simonson shows us the TVA Null-Time Zone where the Fantastic Four are taken as defendants in a criminal trial concerning their multiple time-traveling adventures. By going to the past and the future in attempts to save the world, the FF have artificially extended the life of their own continuum and the cloned bureaucrats of TVA want to see that corrected.

After some impressive flirting by Ms. Marvel gains the FF a heavily guarded tour of the TVA, Reed Richards devises a plan for escape. While the Human Torch and the Thing start a very destructive diversion, he and the Invisible Woman investigate the software used by TVA's seemingly endless continuum monitors in the Hall of Chronometry. Before they can act, however, the Thing and the Torch get caught in a stand-off with the TVA's cyborg security forces. The authorities have Ms. Marvel hostage but they also offer something to Ben Grimm if he'll give himself up: the chance to become human once more!
