FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) (#1-416) (MARVEL) #321 - Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Fantastic Four #321
"After the Fall" is written by Steve Englehart and drawn by Ron Lim and Romeo Tanghal. You've seen the Thing and the Hulk throw down many times (Fantastic Four #25 and 112 provide shining examples). But now it's the ladies' turn! Ms. Marvel, whom circumstances has made ugly, lumpy and orange like her boyfriend Ben Grimm, pays a not-so-pleasant visit to the She-Hulk, the cousin of old Jade Jaws. She's looking for a little payback for the Hulk's most recent smackdown of her beau and she's willing to take it out on the She-Hulk, who, although green, was transformed into a seven-foot-tall babe when she got her super-strength.

Don't expect the hair-pulling and slapping a stereotypical girl-fight would entail. Instead, each of these heroes has the power of a runaway locomotive. From She-Hulk's apartment to the Manhattan streets below, their battle tears up more concrete than three decades of urban renewal. Ms. Marvel's jealousy of She-Hulk's drop-dead good looks (pictured here in a thong and cropped-top workout ensemble) gives way to sheer savagery. Meanwhile, at a penthouse at the top of the Empire State Building, a rogue Watcher summons the Dragon Man, a fire-breathing android monster who has a soft spot for the ladies to enter the mix. This one gets real interesting fast! Meanwhile, Alicia, although now Johnny Storm's girl, comforts her former boyfriend Ben Grimm as he recuperates from the Hulk's onslaught. Can they salvage a friendship from the wreckage of their past?
