FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) (#1-416) (MARVEL) #100 - Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Fantastic Four (1961) #100
"The Long Journey Home!" Villains, villains, villains! Writer Stan Lee and artists Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott celebrate the centennial issue of Marvel's first family by throwing nearly every super-baddy the team has ever faced at them! Returning from the Hidden Land of the Inhumans in an aircraft borrowed from Black Bolt, the FF finds its transportation blown up in mid-air out from under them. Landing somewhere in the Arabian Desert (safely thanks to Crystal's elemental power over air), the team has little time to puzzle over who is attacking them.

The answer soon becomes clear: Everyone is! First, Kang the Conqueror takes a whack at our heroes, followed by his ancestor Doctor Doom. The Frightful Four, Dragon Man, the Sub-Mariner, the Super-Skrull, the Sentry, the Hate-Monger, the Red Ghost and his Super-Apes follow in quick succession. Mr. Fantastic soon figures out that these foes are android duplicates of their old nemeses. But the Mad Thinker and the Puppet Master, the true villains behind this attack, have got one last foe for the FF to face: the incredible Hulk!
