Huge Comics and Book Sale Ends Saturday
Howdy!
The arctic front that our Colorado weather people promised us for last night hit with a vengeance. We were supposed to drop to -9, but as the photo I took of the thermometer in my car makes clear, it ended up being far colder at our farm in Boulder. This morning, however, illustrated why it is so wonderful to live in Colorado, as we awoke to glistening mountains, framed by an astoundingly blue sky.

I mention our extremely cold weather because it was the primary reason why I elected to extend our annual 60% off CHRISTMAS! codeword sale on back issue comics through this upcoming Saturday, at noon. Simply put, the bitter cold weather put a big crimp in our traditionally strong after-Christmas business at our four Colorado retail stores. That having been said, this online sale is amazingly generous, and includes almost all of our ten million plus
back issue comics and magazines,
excluding only new issues, a few variants, and our CGC-graded issues. I highly recommend that you take advantage of this unexpected opportunity to fill in your collection at remarkably low cost. 'Nuff said...
Sunny Mountains
My only other topic for this New Year's Eve newsletter is a quick mention that our annual Christmas Trade Paperbacks and Comics Hardbacks sale will also be scaling back on Saturday. If you want to
build your library
at 30%-50% off, you have 72 hours but left in which to act.
Happy Collecting!

Chuck - Sorting, Grading and Pricing Comics
P.S. I am already hard at work sorting, grading, and pricing comics for our 2015 convention season. If all goes well, our first stop will be at Planet Comic-Con in Kansas City, March 13-15. I am already getting excited at the prospect of taking 100,000+ back issues to KC!
