Local News - Huge Auction & Poker Game this Saturday! Hi! This Saturday we are hosting a huge comics and toys auction, as well as one of our awesome Texas Hold'em poker tournaments. Both of those events will be benefitting the Rainbow Alley Holiday Party. The money collected will go to buying gifts for the kids at this party. Many of these kids are homeless and were kicked out of their homes. So without the Rainbow Alley Holiday Party these kids would be left with nothing during the holiday season. So we feel this is a very good cause. Poker Flyer On Saturday morning, the Texas Hold-em benefit Poker Tournament, starts at 11 AM. This tournament will have $1,000 in Mile High Comics gift certificates as prizes. 100% of the money collected from this tournament will go to the Rainbow Alley Holiday Party. Preregistration is now open at all of our stores. Paying your $25 entry fee will result in your immediately receiving a $25 gift certificate, so you are essentially playing for free! Tournament is limited to 80 players, so please try to register early... Auction Flyer We are also looking for dealers for this Saturdays game, if you or anyone you know can deal and has some free time please email moulton@milehighcomics.com. We are looking to be 4-5 dealers short right now. 30 minutes after the poker tournament begins on Saturday morning, we will commence one of our world-famous no-minimum-bid auctions. The main auction will benefit Mile High Comics, with the charity portion of the auction dedicated to helping the Rainbow Alley Holiday Party. We try to alternate between Mile High Comics lots and benefit lots, so we are seeking donations of collectibles that we can auction for Rainbow Alley. Please bring all donation items to Lisa, or Greg, at our Jason St. Mega-Store.
