250,000 Comics Trade Paperbacks
and Hardbacks On Sale

Howdy!

This is a week that we will always remember, as we just received the largest shipments of new comics trade paperbacks and comics hardbacks in the 46-year history of Mile High Comics! While we are always receiving restock shipments of books from our distributor, we ordered especially heavy on many of these newly-arrived titles in anticipation of your possibly wanting to give comics-related books to friends and family members as holiday gifts. To help you even further, we discounted all of our trade paperbacks and hardbacks for you, with those discounted prices having been posted directly to our website. Have fun shopping through this wonderful selection of great comics-related books, with our sincere thanks for your support of our efforts on your behalf here at Mile High Comics.

On a closely related note, we just this morning disassembled the barrier of 8' high display cases that had blocked from view the 250,000+ books that we have meticulously shelved in the rear of our Jason St. Mega-Store. Reaction from our Mega-Store visitors was instantaneous, with everyone visiting the Mega-Store today marveling at the immensity of our books inventory. That having been said, they could only peer at the books on the shelves from behind the security wall, as we just finished an audit of our entire book inventory, and all of those 250,000+ books are currently listed for sale on our website. To keep that audited inventory absolutely correct, only a couple of especially trusted members of our staff are authorized to search for books for our Mega-Store clients from those back shelves, and they can only offer a book to an in-store client after first making certain that that particular book is not already committed to an online order. If you ever visit Denver, you simply must stop by and see our incredible display of comics related books!

Jason Street Mega Store Books

Moving on to other news, I thought that you might be interested to know that I turned down a chance the other day to sell our Jason St. Mega-Store building for twice what I paid for it just three years ago. It appreciated that much in value solely because Colorado legalized the commercial cultivation of marijuana, but only in certain very restricted areas. By pure happenstance, our building is one of the few remaining locations where pot can be legally grown. Go figure... While the thought of just selling out and retiring might appeal to many people, I have no intention of selling our building. I absolutely love what I do, and want to keep right on providing comics and books to my friends in the collecting world for many years to come.

Harley Quinn Annual #1

All of the above having been said, today's free giveaway comics offer is also tied in with pot, as DC Comics recently released the HARLEY QUINN ANNUAL #1 with a special rub-and-sniff feature that supposedly replicates the smell of marijuana. I have not personally checked the accuracy of that particular scent, I can assure you that the controversy surrounding this issue caused it to be an instant sellout, and for the price in the secondary market to climb rapidly. What matters most for you, however, is the fact that we ordered extra copies of the HARLEY QUINN ANNUAL in advance of that sellout, and stashed 100 copies to give away. Place any minimum $50 order with us over the next couple of days, and we will include in your shipment a free copy of the HARLEY QUINN ANNUAL #1 Rub-And-Sniff Marijuana variant. Just ask for your free copy in the "notes" portion of our online order form.

I will close today's newsletter with a quick reminder that we have a very generous 40% off COMICSDEAL! steep discount codeword in effect for you right now on all of our back issue comics and magazines, excluding only new issues, a few variants, and our CGC-graded comics. Our comics prices on our website are already at rock bottom, but when you knock another 40% off, a great many of our back issues are remarkably inexpensive...

Happy Collecting!
