All Comics TPB and HC prices slashed, plus STAR WARS (2015) weekend sale Howdy! Today's newsletter is especially important to you, as it marks the first occasion for you to see a tangible manifestation of some major changes that are about to transpire at Mile High Comics. I'll begin by letting you know that I am about to undertake the single largest, and most expensive, project in the 46-year history of our company. This is a project so daunting that will easily occupy all of my time, and my money, for the entire next year. I wish that I could reveal to you today precisely the nature of my new project, but this is such a new development that I have not yet had the opportunity to even brief all the members of our staff. That notification process should be completed over the weekend, however, so I will be able to provide you with some very specific details about my new project in Monday's newsletter. In the meantime, my need for funding has prompted me to immediately offer you the most generous sale on our comics trade paperbacks, comics hardbacks, and graphic novels in the history of the company. Effective right now, all of the hardbacks on our website are priced for you on our website at a minimum of 50% off, while all of our trade paperbacks and graphic novels are a minimum of 60% off. Never, ever, have we offered all of our books at such remarkably low prices. Some of our Trade Shelves All of the above having been said, I would suggest that you start shopping for books on our website right now, as these radically lower prices only went into effect at noon today (completely unannounced), but they have already spurred an enormous surge in our books sales. We do have well over 300,000 books in stock, but with everything we own now at half price (or less), we expect to be selling out of quite a few titles very quickly. Take advantage of this great opportunity to enhance your personal library for pennies on the dollar! Yet another reason for you to place an order with us over this upcoming weekend is that I asked our head new comics buyer, Will Moulton, to temporarily lower all of the prices on the STAR WARS (2015) and DARTH VADER (2015 regular covers. This temporary price reduction includes all of the later printings of each issue. Our STAR WARS comics were already selling quite well for us, but I decided that offering everyone one last chance to pick up some of these early STAR WARS editions at close to original cover price would be a nice thing to do. I did, however, agree to let Will revert to his original (higher) pricing on Monday afternoon...
