STAR WARS #12 Art - 40% Off HALLOWEEN Codeword
Howdy!
If you missed my earlier announcements, for the next week almost all of our ten
million back issue comics and magazines can be purchased at a 40% discount from
the prices listed on our website when you type the codeword HALLOWEEN into the
discount codeword line on our online order form. This great annual 40% off sale
encompasses all of our
Golden Age,
Silver Age,
Bronze Age,
Copper Age, and
Modern comics,
as well as all of our back issue
Marvel,
DC,
Dark Horse,
Image, and
Independent
publisher titles. Only new comics, a few variants, and our CGC-graded issues are
excluded from the 40% off sale.

If you do place an order with us utilizing the 40% off codeword, please do allow a couple
extra days for your order to ship. Given that we already lowered all of our
back issue comics and magazine
prices by nearly half off back in April, this additional 40% off
savings is prompting a flood of orders from our longtime clients. My encouragement to
you is for you to place your HALLOWEEN order with us right away, as our backlog tends
to grow as these steep discount dales sales near their conclusion. 'nuff said...
Star Wars #12 MHC Variant
In other news, we just received our finished art to our exclusive
Mile High Comics variant
edition of
STAR WARS #12.
This image completes the exceptionally cool Death Star attack
scene that began with
#7.
We will now have two issues (
#13
&
#14)
which will have Young
Baby-style covers by Katie Cook. Katie will be producing the covers for our entire six-issue
VADER DOWN crossover (
VADER DOWN #1
,
STAR WARS #13
&
#14,
DARTH VADER #13,
#14,
& #15
).

While these Young Baby-style covers are quite a bit different from the battle scenes depicted
in our first twelve STAR WARS covers, Katie is incredibly popular, so we expect them to sell
even better. We posted Katie's
VADER DOWN #1
cover to
Facebook last week, and almost instantly
received over 15,000 "likes!" When you consider that we are only printing 5,000 copies of
our variant to this epic crossover, having that many "likes" is a pretty good indicator that
our VADER DOWN series is going to sell out. Especially since the crossover is releasing
simultaneous with the new movie.

Below are links through which you can advance order all six of our VADER DOWN crossovers. Or
, you can write to Greg or Mario in our
subscription department
at nice@milehighcomics.com,
and they can set everything up for you to receive each issue. FYI, we only bill for our variants
as they are actually released, which helps spread out the cost over a few months. Limit three
copies of each per patron, please.

STAR WARS #1-6 MHC Variants
Before I leave the topic of our variants, I did want to clarify a couple of strategic points.
First, it should now be evident to everyone that our company plan is to continue to print Mile
High Comics STAR WARS (2015) variants for as long as Marvel/LucasFilms will allow. We currently
have our covers planned through issue #20, but we see no reason to stop there. With five (or six?)
STAR WARS feature films planned over the next five years, we see the demand for back issues of
all STAR WARS comics growing vigorously for an indefinite period.
That having been said, I want you to know over 70% of our original print run for
STAR WARS (2015) #1
has now been dispersed, and our remaining stock of #2-#9 is also quickly dwindling. I strongly suggest
that if you have not already put together a set of our
Mile High Comics exclusives,
you definitely
want to add these issues to your collection BEFORE the new movie releases. Whatever copies we have
remaining of our #1 issue are almost certainly going be priced at $100 apiece on December 18th,
with similar price increases anticipated on all of the other issues. Simply put, the Mile High
Comics STAR WARS variant series is the only complete variant set ever produced by anyone besides
Marvel, and we're now running out.
On a different topic, if you are going to be near Denver tomorrow (Saturday), we are hosting our monthly
no-minimum-bid comics and toy auction
at our
Jason St. Mega-Store.
The auction begins at 11:30 AM, and
features well over 500 cool comics and collectibles. Here are links to photos of the auction items:

Well, that's it for today. I am now off to our local costume ship to pick up my Devil costume for
tonight's Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire
benefit show at Aqua Lounge, here in Denver.
I am Prince Royale of the ICRME this year, and as such I am obligated to give live performances
for charity at most of our benefit shows. Tonight's show at
Aqua Lounge (just of Colfax on Krameria St.)
begins at 8 PM, and is a benefit for Urban Peak (which helps homeless teens)
and Freedom Service Dogs (which helps people with disabilities). The. Over charge is only $5, which allows you to see
about 20 numbers. In case you're wondering, for the number that I will be performing tonight is
a rendition of Sympathy For The Devil, by the Rolling Stones...
Happy collecting!

P.S. Below are a few more of the 100+ Mile High Comics variant
editions that we have published over the
past few years. So you know, we are extremely protective of our variants purchasers, which is precisely
why we never wholesale or discount our variants, and limit purchases to only three copies per client.
In a nutshell, we want our Mile High Comics variant to always be in high demand, and to never decline
in value in the secondary market.
