50% Off HALLOWEEN Codeword Sale Begins Today Howdy! It's with great pleasure that I am able to let you know that our annual 50% HALLOWEEN codeword sale goes into effect for you today. For the next seven days, you will be able to choose pretty much any back issue comic book or magazine that we offer on our website at half (!) price. Just place your order as per usual, and then type HALLOWEEN into the "Discount Codeword" line on our order form. Our computer will then automatically apply those 50% savings to all qualifying items in your order. As regards which items qualify for the half price sale, new comics, a few variants, and our CGC-items need to be exempt from codewords, but all the rest of our ten million back issues ARE a part of the 50% off promotion. This includes the vast majority of the 10,000+ excellent back issues that we just added for you into our New-In-Stock and Premium New-In-Stock links, as well as all of our Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age comics. Our 250,000 comics-related trade paperbacks and hardbacks are also not eligible for the codeword discount, but that's offset by the fact that all of our books are already discounted for you by at least 20% off, with those discounted book prices being posted for you right on our website. Finally, we do continue to offer you a special deal where you can mix books and comics together in the same order to achieve our free shipping minimums of $40 for destinations in the USA, and a $100 minimum order for free delivery to most International destinations. All we ask is at you meet the minimum requirements after all discounts have been taken into account. Even with orders that qualify for free base shipping, however, we do still have to add small per item surcharges on orders containing books, as they add considerably to the shipping weight of each package. That having been said, we typically do still subsidize at least half of the cost of shipping books for you, as our surcharges were set intentionally too low, as we are doing everything that we can to minimize your costs.
