Half Price Sale
Marvel Comics Trade Paperbacks and Hardbacks

Howdy!

Marvel Comics offered us an unexpected windfall the other day, as they decided to close out all of their remaining supplies on nearly 100 of their trade paperbacks and hardback collections. Since our company philosophy revolves around trying to keep all past Marvel publications in stock, I authorized our head new comics buyer, Will Moulton, to purchase over 3,000 individual volumes from that Marvel closeout list for our own long-term use. In addition, I had him order a total of another 1,000 copies of those Marvel trade paperbacks and hardback books to offer to you in today's newsletter at half (!) of original cover price. Please do enjoy this great sale on Marvel books, with our sincere thanks for your continuing support of Mile High Comics.

Death of Wolverine #4

Death of Wolverine #4 Canada Variant

Death of Wolverine #4 Greg Land Variant

In other news, we are almost completely out of stock on the DEATH OF WOLVERINE #4 sets that I offered in Tuesday's newsletter. If you hurry, you may still be able to qualify for free copies of all three of the editions ( regular, Greg Land, and Canadian) for the minimum $125 order requirement, but there are no guarantees at this point, as we have only about 30 sets remaining. Individual issues can also still be requested as a free bonus for placing a minimum $50 order, but our free copy supplies on those individual issues are diminishing quickly, too. Suffice it to say, the entire DEATH OF WOLVERINE mini-series has been extremely well-received...

Suicide Squad #7

Another free comics option that I can offer you today is SUICIDE SQUAD (2011) #7, which features the origin of HARLEY QUINN. Because almost any comic featuring HARLEY QUINN sells well for us as a back issue, Will Moulton ordered 300 extra copies of this book for us when it was first released a couple of years ago. That was long before it was announced, however, that SUICIDE SQUAD was being placed on the schedule as an upcoming DC Comics movie. That news has caused this issue to suddenly be mentioned as being a future "key" title on some comics investment sites, with the result being that prices for SUICIDE SQUAD #7 are escalating rapidly in many places on the Internet. After a morning phone conference, Will and I decided to go ahead and give away 50 of our extras to anyone places a minimum $50 order with us over the next couple if days. Just ask for your free copy in the "notes" section of our online order form.

Before I leave the topic of our free giveaways program, I need to mention again that each of our free giveaway offers requires that it's own separate minimum be met. Also, the minimum order requirement for each item is predicted upon the net amount of your order, after all discounts have first been taken into account. We do certainly want to reward everyone for their support and patronage of Mile High Comics, but fairness dictates that everyone seeking free issues from us actually meet the stated requirements. Thank you for your understanding...

Moving on to other news, our 40% off ELVIRA codeword is still in effect for you on all ten million of our back issue comics and magazines. Only our new issues, a few variants, and our CGC-graded comics are not a part of the ELVIRA sale. If you are new to my newsletters, I provide these discount codewords exclusively to members of our newsletter and Facebook communities as a reward for their continuing support. I do change the codewords frequently, however, as I want them to be an exclusive benefit, rather than being available to everyone. ELVIRA was chosen as this week's codeword because we are exhibiting at the ComiKazi Expo in Los Angeles at the end of the month, where Elvira is one of the Guests Of Honor.

Speaking of the ComiKazi Expo, we are working non-stop right now to greatly enhance our traveling comics shop. As a case in point, I was still working here in Jason St. at 10 PM last evening, specifically concentrating on grading even more comics to include as a part of the huge array that we will be offering at the ComiKazi Expo. As a result of the combined efforts of our dozen+ Jason St. staff members, I believe that those of you who shopped with us at this year's San Diego Comic-Con will be pleasantly surprised at the improvements that we have made in the depth of our selections, and also at the new-found ease of shopping with us. ComiKazi will held at the downtown LA Convention Center from October 31st - November 2nd. We hope we see you there!

Happy Collecting!
