Uncanny X-Men kicks off with a revamped line-up (and excellent art by Greg Land) while Squadron Supreme makes another run at an on-going series. A-Force sees the return of the female Avengers team and Spidey has new versions of the classic Spider-Man tales with Peter Parker as a teenager. Some of Marvel's greatest female heroes get new titles with Scarlet Witch and Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat going solo. Another book that is sure to get a lot of attention is the Gwenpool Special with the first story of this alternate version of Gwen Stacy. Not to be left behind, Star Wars is releasing Annuals to both the on-going series and Darth Vader. Spider-Gwen #201 Phantom Along with all of the new #1 issues, we are offering Phantom Variant Covers to some of the new titles with excellent pictures of the female characters. There are 2 versions of these covers, a color one for $9.95 and a black & white version for $29.95. The titles that will have Phantom covers are Invincible Iron Man #1, Spider-Gwen #201, Extraordinary X-Men #2, Hawkeye #1, Ms. Marvel #1, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #1, A-Force #1 and Ultimates #1. We are also getting a Phantom Cover to Deadpool #1 for $9.95 and a Gold Phantom Cover for $29.95. DC has a huge title on their hands with Dark Knight III: Master Race that is getting a lot of buzz with Frank Miller returning to the Dark Knight. The crossover everyone has been waiting for finally hits when Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comes out. Harley Quinn's secret team-ups get revealed in Harley's Little Black Book while the Robin War makes it's way through the Bat-titles. Vertigo continues it's resurgence with Sheriff of Babylon set in Iraq and the return of Lucifer. Extraordinary X-Men #2 Phantom IDW prepares for the Holiday Season with specials to some of their more popular titles. The Transformers Holiday Special, Jem & The Holograms Holiday Special, My Little Pony Holiday Special, and X-Files X-Mas Special are sure to bring some cheer to the doldrums of winter. We get to see a new side of the Star Trek Universe with Star Trek: Starfleet Academy while Judge Dredd and Rocketeer at War make triumphant returns to comics. Image rolls out Symmetry about a Utopian society that may come crashing down when two like-minded people begin asking questions. Action Lab brings us a Zombie Tramp XXXMas Special while Boom Studios has Garfield's Cheesy Holiday to satisfy very different tastes. Doc Savage: Spider's Web sees the return of another classic character to Dynamite Entertainment while Grant Morrison's 18 Days hard to find first issues get collected in 18 Days Volume 1: War Begins TPB. Dr. Mirage returns to Valiant with Dr. Mirage: Second Lives while Street Fighter Unlimited sees the classic video game characters back in print.
