Join Our Benefit Poker Tournament this Saturday Howdy! This Saturday morning at 11 AM we will be hosting a special benefit Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament at our Jason St. Mega-Store, 4600 Jason Street. This tournament is open to anyone who wishes to play, and will have a grand prize of a $1,000.00 (!) Mile High Comics gift certificate. Prizes will also be awarded to #2-#5, and trophies will be given to those who finish #1-#3. Winners from Last Poker Game The cost of participating in our tournament is only $25, which will be donated to Urban Peak, an organization which helps homeless teens. If you would like to play on Saturday, please try to stop by one of our Mile High Comics stores, and register in advance. While you can also wait and register before the game begins on Saturday morning, we will only have enough chips this time for up 80 players. We had 60 players in our last game, so it is possible that we may have to turn away some latecomers. Final Table at Last Month's Poker Game My only other news for today is to let everyone know that our beautiful Mile High Comics variant edition of STAR WARS (2015) #7 arrived at all of our stores today. If you have not already subscribed to receive each issue as they are published, I highly recommend that you do so as quickly as you can. We are currently under contract to publish Mile High comics variants of STAR WARS (2015) #8-#12, and plan to continue our STAR WARS series indefinitely. The sooner that you can get subscribed to our variant series, the lower your cost will be of putting together your complete run of our very limited editions.
