SANDIEGO Codeword Sale - All Back Issues Half Price
Howdy!
The 2018 - 2019 Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide releases this Wednesday, and as a longtime
Overstreet Advisor I was fascinated by the predominance of discussions about a sudden growth
in demand for variant editions of all kinds in the first few of this year's "Market Report" essays.
Noted in particular were cover price variants of all kinds, International editions, and high grade
newsstand variant editions. If you would like to read these essays, you can order your new Overstreet
here:

I have to admit that I am quite pleased that so many of my fellow Advisors have now come to understand
the high degree of scarcity associated with almost all of these variants. Will Moulton, Pam Brandle,
and I have worked diligently for over ten years to document as many of these variants as possible
within our online database, adding well over 100,000 new listings. It has been a huge amount of work,
but we are now seeing a massive payoff for our efforts as canny collectors swoop in to grab as many of
our existing stock of variants as possible before the rest of the market wakes up. Cool!
SILVER SURFER (1968) #18
Also very cool is the fact that our new 50% Off SANDIEGO codeword blew up demand for
back issue comics and magazines
on
our website
over this past weekend. We have already sold a large number of great back issues though the codeword sale,
but even more arrived today courtesy of my
buying trip last week to the East Coast.
Keep an eye on our
New-In-Stock
and
Premium New-In-Stock
links all this week, as we are going to be adding even more great back issues, almost all of which will
qualify for the half price sale. Only new issues, a few variants, and our professionally-graded comics are
exempt. I just love buying and selling old comic books!
BATMAN (1940) #345
Speaking of buying, I have an
Imperial Court coronation
that I am attending this weekend in Boise, ID.
Because the airfare was half price if I stayed over a day, I am not leaving until Monday evening. If anyone
in that region has a collection that they might be interested in selling, please write to Pam Brandle
pamb@milehighcomics.com, and she will try to arrange a home visit from me either Sunday evening, or Monday morning.
We are looking for comics, comics magazines, treasury editions, trade paperbacks, and comics hardbacks. We
will also purchase statues, action figures, Pops, and comics cards, but those are not a priority.
That's it for today. Have a great week, and be nice to yourself by taking some time to relax with your comics.
Happy collecting!

President - Mile High Comics, Inc.
