Free DC Comics BOMBSHELL Variants

Howdy!

Our big push to expand our selection of comics for you is now in full swing. A crew is currently emptying a section of our long term storage shelving that has been in place in the back of our 56th Ave. warehouse for many years, specifically so that we can add space for an additional 50,000 comics in our website inventory. With any luck, this new shelving should be available to us by the end of the week.

While expanding our shelving is one aspect of our current expansion, it is also critically important that we simultaneously sort and grade some of the 1,000,000+ back issues that we have in storage from my past buying trips. I will personally be leading that effort, with most of that work being done in the warehouse portion of our Jason St. Mega-Store. If you live in the Denver area, and would like to help us with this sorting, please contact Chris Lanham, the manager of Jason St. He is currently putting together crews to help us with sorting comics for our online listings, the Jason St. Store, and also for the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con. We pay $10/hour in trade credit for sorting, which can be used for anything we offer.

ICRME at the Albuquerque Coronation

In other news, we have posted another batch of Cosplay performance videos from our Opening Night Party for the 2014 Denver Comic-Con. While all of the performances were really fun, I especially recommend your watching the Alice in Wonderland and Mad Hatter videos. Alice was played by Melissa Nawrocki, who is Empress this year of the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire (ICRME), while The Mad Hatter performance is by the incredibly talented Chase Pelletier, who was our Emperor last year.

ICRME Performers at Jason St.

If you live near Denver, and would like to see our group perform live, you should sign up for our Mile High Comics Denver area newsletter. I will be mentioning specific ICRME performance dates in that once-a-week mailing, and also who will be performing. This November, for example, we will be hosting our very formal SNOW BALL in our newly-built performance area of the Jason St. Mega-Store. This ball is the Empress's annual holiday charity event, and typically raises many thousands of dollars. The year-long performance theme of the 41st Reign is Super-Heroes, but everyone will still be expected to attend SNOW BALL at Jason St. in tuxedoes and gowns. This should be an amazing event!

Returning to the world of comics, we did just receive another batch of the DC Comics BOMBSHELL variant editions. Our head new comics buyer, Will Moulton, specifically ordered 40 extra copies of each variant to give away for free. You can select any one variant edition for free if you place a minimum $30 order with us this week, any four for free as a reward for placing a minimum $100 order, or any nine for a $200 order. Please enjoy these free comics with our sincere thanks for your continuing support of Mile High Comics.
