SANDIEGO Codeword Sale Ends Monday Howdy! The 20% off SANDIEGO codeword sale that I put into effect for you on Wednesday caused our sales to more than triple from earlier in the week! I mention that very positive development because those of you placing back issue orders with us over the next couple of days will have to be a little patient in waiting for your orders to ship. We have become very adroit at working down order backlogs, but yesterday was our website's single busiest day of all of 2015... In case you missed my earlier announcement, the SANDIEGO codeword sale is intended as a "Thank You!" gift for those of you who have been supporting us regularly. The sale is for very short duration, however, ending next Monday, at noon. This sale is on top of the very dramatic 50%-60% price cuts that I implemented on almost all of the back issue comics and magazines on our website at the end of March. In effect, when you take advantage of the SANDIEGO codeword, you will be receiving all the savings of our old sales system, plus another 20% off of that already discounted amount. This is an exceptionally good deal, which is precisely why I am trying to limit its availability to just our most dedicated clients. (As per usual, the codeword sale applies to almost all ten million of our back issue comics and magazines, but not to books, new comics, a few variants, and our CGC-graded issues) I did also want to take a minute to remind everyone that we are still offering free shipping on most orders to destinations in the USA for a $40 minimum order, and to most International destinations for a minimum $100 order. Books and over size items do still require per item surcharges, but even those are typically far below the actual cost of shipping. Star Wars #7-12 Mile High Moving on to other news, we finally received the first preliminary sketch for our exclusive Mile High Comics variant edition of STAR WARS #7. This artwork was delayed a bit because we were waiting for final approval from LucasFilms for our complete image of #7-#12, which features six different rebel fighters attacking the Death Star. If you have already signed up to receive our STAR WARS variants, then your subscription will automatically carry over to #7-#12.
