Free HULK SMASH AVENGERS Autographed Comic Book Howdy! Today's newsletter is being composed on a flight back to Denver from my East Coast comics buying trip. Aside from a slight last-minute altercation with a TSA agent (is there such a thing as a slight altercation with someone who has a badge, and a very bad attitude?) who was carelessly bending one of my incredibly rare 1959/1960 German MICKY MAUS comics (featuring Carl Barks art from WDCS!) that I had very carefully packed in my carry-on baggage, my comics buying trip to the East Coast went smoothly, and incredibly well. While finding those 49 German Carl Barks comics made me really happy, the 14 huge pallets packed full with 100,000+ Marvel, DC, and miscellaneous older comics that Ashley and I shipped back to Denver yesterday will almost certainly make you very happy, too. Speaking of Jason St., our May Open House event will be held this Saturday, May 19th, from 10 AM - 3 PM at 4600 Jason St., in central Denver. Writers Roger Stern and Raven Gregory will be in attendance, and signing autographs for fans. Roger's newest title, HULK SMASH AVENGERS #3 released just this past Wednesday, while Raven wrote (and will be signing) copies of GRIMM FAIRY TALES #73 Cover D, the issue for which we commissioned a special 500-copy Mile High Comics variant cover edition. As most of you already know from my previous posts, we have been offering to have Roger and Raven sign comics for everyone who lives distant from Denver, and who cannot attend Saturday's party in person. The cost per autograph is only $2 an item, and includes a nice certificate of authenticity. That offer absolutely has to end at 10 AM Mountain Time tomorrow morning, however, as we will have no one on our staff to download any more orders from our website servers during the actual signing party.
