SECRET WARS #1 6 New STAR WARS Variant Editions Howdy! I want to start off today by letting everyone know that our exclusive Mile High Comics variant edition of SECRET WARS (2015) #1 releases tomorrow. Our print run on this first issue is set at Marvel's absolute minimum of only 3,000 copies. That may sound like a lot, but compared with Marvel's estimated 300,000+ print run on the regular edition, it is but a tiny fraction. Secret Wars #1 Mile High Our SECRET WARS (2015) #1 variant is available to you today at $24.95 per copy, with a three copy limit. We do bump our prices on our variants upward as our supplies run low, however, so I cannot guarantee that $24.95 price to you for more than a week. Simply put, SECRET WARS (2015) #2 is already releasing next week, and we expect that as this very radical storyline unfolds that we may experience unprecedented demand for our limited edition variants. Marvel has implied that a great deal that we know about the history of the Marvel Universe will change as a direct result of this new SECRET WARS (2015) storyline.... Secret Wars #2 Mile High On a closely related topic, we have signed a contract to publish Mile High Comics variants of all eight issues of SECRET WARS (2015). It is now past time to pre-order #1, but if you act quickly, you can still set up a subscription to issues #'s 2-8. Our eight Mile High Comics variant editions will all have covers by Dale Keown, which will combine to form a single huge battle scene featuring all the main characters of the Marvel Universe. Our Mile High High Star Wars Combined Picture Moving to other news, Marvel celebrated this week being the 28th anniversary of the release of the first STAR WARS movie by releasing six more limited edition STAR WARS variants! Rather than trying to describe each one, I am going to have Lynne provide you with cover scans to all at the end of this newsletter. The print runs on these later STAR WARS editions are shockingly low, as most comics dealers choose not to stock them at all, or to only order a tiny numbers of copies. Princess Leia #4 Mile High We, on the other hand, are investing huge sums to create the very best inventory of Marvel STAR WARS comics to be found anywhere in the world. Aside from our own variant editions, I am especially fond of the later printings of all the new STAR WARS titles, as most of these have print runs only in the 3,000 - 8,000 copy range. In my own personal opinion, these later printings should turn out to be highly collectible (and quite expensive) as Disney/LucasFilms roll out 6 new STAR WARS movies over the next five years. I strongly suggest that you purchase as many STAR WARS variants as you can afford today, as prices on these cool comics have nowhere to go, but straight up. Happy Collecting!
