More Free Comic Book Day News Howdy! As expected, we have already received requests over this past weekend for thousands of our 2014 Free Comic Book Day editions. That having been said, our head new comics buyer, Will Moulton, allocated his purchases wisely, so we are not yet out of stock on any of the 59 FCBD variants. If you would like to place an advance reservation with us, all you need to do is to place a qualifying order, and then let us know in the "notes" section of our online order form as to which FCBD issues that you would like to receive. We cannot, however, ship any order containing FCBD editions to you until Monday, May 5th. Place any minimum $20 order with us, and you can then request that any three of this year's FCBD be added to your order, at no charge. You can then reserve one more FCBD edition for each $10 increment that you spend with us over that initial $20. If you want all 59 FCBD of this year's FCBD editions for free, you can earn them all for a $500 minimum order. Worlds of Aspen It is important for you to know that we only have five complete FCBD sets remaining, so this offer is limited to the first five $500 orders that we receive. Our supplies on some individual FCBD editions are also quite limited, so this entire offer will need to expire at the end of the day on FCBD, May 3rd, or when we run out of our free copies on any given issue, whichever comes first. In all honesty, to guarantee your best chance at receiving the issues that you want most, I highly recommend placing your FCBD order with us as quickly as you can. Diamond Distributing is already telling us that they are totally sold out on ALL (!) 59 FCBD editions, so we cannot place any kind of a reorder... Guardians of the Galaxy I would like to add a kindly reminder that you should please calculate carefully, and not order more FCBD issues than the size of your qualifying order allows. If you do, we reserve the right to cut your allocation back to the number of issues for which you actually do qualify, and to use our own discretion when determining which FCBD issues to send you. Top Shelf Kids Club Finally, I do want to mention that our prices remain slashed in half on most of our back issues relative to our prices from earlier this year. Our 50% off SWEETHEART codeword sale also remains in effect for you on most of our back issue comics, excluding only books, new comics, a few variants, and our CGC-graded issues. While not a part of our codeword sale, all of our comics trade paperbacks, graphic novels, and comics hardbacks are also on sale at 20%-30% off, with those discounted prices listed for you right on our website. I had believed on Saturday that we could just list them for you to order on our website, but that was an error on my part. Simply put, the Powers-That-Be in charge of FCBD will not let us list them for you on our website at even a nominal price (such as a penny...) until the Monday after FCBD. Since our website software will not accept zero price items, utilizing our "notes" area was the only way for us to allow you to place advance FCBD reservations.
