Comics and Book Prices Slashed + Free Comic Book Day Editions Howdy! A very short newsletter today, as all of us here at Mile High Comics are working hard to cope with the huge influx of orders that we have been receiving since I suddenly slashed all of our comics and books prices on our website late last week. If you do place an order with us over the next couple of days, please allow a little extra time for us to get your order shipped, as we have been inundated with orders. Clearly, price decreases of up to 70% off on comics and books do stimulate sales! If you are wondering about my rationale for such radical price reductions, please check out the series of YouTube video newsletters that I have filmed over the past six weeks. Princess Leia (2015) #3 Mile High Variant The end of next week is also when FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2015 will be happening. Have you locked in your 51 FCBD editions, yet? This is a very important question, because if past trends hold true, the vast majority of comics shops will only stock the top dozen most popular FCBD titles, leaving their fans to fend for themselves if they want a full FCBD set. Secret Wars #1 Mile High Variant The above having been said, we did stock up very heavily on all 51 FCBD titles, and are allowing our clients to actually reserve them in advance. Just place any order with us over the next week, and you can request one FCBD edition for each $10 of your order, or all 51 for any order above $400. Just let us know in the "Notes" section of our online order form as to which FCBD editions you would like to receive with your order. Please do note, however, that all orders requesting FCBD editions cannot ship until Monday, May 4th. A full list of all 51 of this year's FCBD editions is at the end of this newsletter. Secret Wars #2 Mile High Variant Finally, if you are going to be anywhere near Denver on Saturday, May 2nd, we are going to be blessed to have former Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief, Jim Shooter, signing autographs at our Jason St. Mega-Store. The first three autographs are free, with a $2 donation to the White Rose Scholarship Fund requested for additional autographs.
