Half Price Comics Sale - Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image

Howdy!

I just received our March sales data, and as I suspected might happen, our recent slashing of almost all of our back issue comics prices on our website has resulted in a dramatic increase in not only the number of orders that we are receiving, but also in the number of comics and magazines per order. This wonderful news helps me justify making those price decreases permanent, and also allows me to extend our 50% off SWEETHEART codeword sale for you for at least another week.

Pallets Arrive

There is more good news today, as the 100,000+ back issues that I purchased on the East Coast at the end of last month arrived in Denver yesterday. I spent the entire morning unpacking just one of the very large private collections that I purchased on that buying trip, with my goal being to have them ready to be immediately added to our website offerings for you. Will Moulton and Pam are already grading the first 500 Silver Age and Bronze Age comics from that collection, many of which will appear in our New-In-Stock links for you on Saturday. Highlights will include a nice mixed grade batch of X-MEN (1963) issues between #100-#142, WITCHBLADE #1, #2, HELLBLAZER #1, and NEW MUTANTS #98.

While it is great that we will be adding thousands of cool comics into our inventory, please be aware that our newly lowered prices are proving to be so attractive to many fans around the world that we are now tending to sell especially desirable comics very quickly. If you see comics that you would like to add to your collection offered in our New-In-Stock link, I highly encourage your to place your order with us right away. With the SWEETHEART codeword helping you to purchase most comics on our website at half (!) of those already lowered list prices, it is inadvisable to delay in placing any order, but especially for those comics that are in high demand. 'Nuff said.

In other news, I am already planning my next East Coast buying trip for mid-May. If you have a collection that you might be interested in selling to us, please contact Pam Brandle at pamb@milehighcomics.com. Pam sets up all of my personal visits, and I can generally view about five private collections during each of my trips. My tentative itinerary for the latter part of May will have me in NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, NH, ME, RI, MD, DE, and possibly as far south as VA.

Amazing Spider-Man
#1 Mile High

Updating sales on our soon-to-be-released AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 variant edition, we pre-sold another 100 copies (!) in just the past 48 hours. That leaves us with only 320 copies left in our advance order allotment. If you would like to reserve up to five copies of our extremely limited AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 variant edition, I urge you to either write to Greg or Mario in our new comics subscription department at nice@milehighcomics.com, or to call them on Monday at 303-455-2659. The pre-order price for our variant is currently only $14.95, but that pre-order price will rise to $24.95 once those last 320 copies are committed.

Choas #1 Mile High

X-O Manowar #25 Mile High

Rai #1 Mile High

I will close today's newsletter with cover artwork that we just received for Chaos (2014) #1, X-O Manowar (2012) #25, and Rai (2014) #1 Mile High editions that we have commissioned for late April and early May. We also just signed up for an exclusive Vampirella (2014) #1 Mile High (No artwork yet) Each of these exclusive Mile High Comics variants will have a tiny print run, and as always been the case, there will be no copies available at wholesale. You can Pre-order any of these for $14.95 each with a maximum 5 copies of each issue per person. In case you are wondering, we keep the print runs on our variants intentionally low so that we have no need to wholesale them to other comics dealers. By intentionally limiting the number of copies of our exclusive Mile High Comics variants available in the marketplace, we are then able to safeguard the long term values of all of our variants for you.

Happy Collecting!
