Free AVENGERS VS X-MEN #1 Variant Editions ! Howdy! I want to start off today by making everyone aware that we are now completely out of stock on the hundreds of AVENGERS VS X-MEN #0 that we were offering as a free incentive in last week's newsletters. We do still have a few copies of #0 for sale on our website that we set aside long before the free promotion began, but even our stock on those few issues is now running quite low. As I began predicting a couple of months ago, AVENGERS VS X-MEN looks to be THE comics publishing event of 2012! Avengers vs X-Men #1 (click on image for larger view) While we are now out of first printings of #0, we did buy very in heavily on first printings of AVENGERS VS X-MEN #1. We can start shipping those first printings out to you as of Wednesday morning, so we have a wonderful series of options listed below if you would like to obtain a first printing of #1 from us entirely for free! What complicates our giveaway offer, however, are two factors. First, Marvel created several variant editions for #1, some printed in extremely low numbers. Second, Marvel also created a wonderful array of promotional items for the release of #1, all of which were made available only to retailers participating in this week's special Tuesday evening premier parties for the release of AVENGERS VS X-MEN #1. While we do want to make all of the cool AVENGERS VS X-MEN items available for those of you who shop with us online, the factor that you really need to keep in mind is that well over 100,000 fans receive this newsletter, and our supplies on some items are very, very limited. That having been said, I am expecting that we will blow through all of the giveaways listed for you below by the end of this week, and may be out of some as early as tomorrow. Moving on to news of another exciting premiere, Morgan Spurlock's new COMIC-CON EPISODE IV: A FAN'S HOPE documentary will be releasing on this Wednesday at the Cinerama Dome at ArcLight Cinemas in Los Angeles. Since I am one of the primary "subjects" of this documentary, the filmmakers are flying me to LA for Wednesday evening's screening of this exceptionally charming and fun movie about the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con.
