A quick newsletter today, as I just have a couple of important news notes. First, the
AVENGERS VS X-MEN #0
is now officially sold out from Diamond Distributing. We had an advance reorder for another large number of copies in the pipeline, but it was denied.
That leaves us with about only about 50 copies left to give away as free bonus items for a $20 order. If you would still like to obtain a copy from us you will need to quickly place your order with us today, and then ask for your free copy of #0 in the "notes" section of the order form. 'Nuff Said.
Second, the advance buzz on our three Denver-area AVENGERS VS X-MEN premiere parties scheduled for next Tuesday evening at 8 PM is beginning to make us wonder if we have enough free giveaways for everyone attending. We will do our best to make our free posters, buttons, coasters, and other goodies stretch, but if you are planning to come to our stores to get these freebies (and your advance copy of
AVENGERS VS X-MEN #1...)
on Tuesday evening, please do arrive early. Our parties will be at our Lakewood, Glendale, and Littleton,
Colorado stores,
from 8 PM -9 PM, only.

My only other news note for today is a quick mention that my good friend, Michael Carbonano, is hosting one of his wonderful one-day comics conventions on Saturday at the
New York Penn Plaza Pavillion,
right across from Madison Square Garden. Stan Lee, George Perez, and Henry Winkler (Fonzie from Happy Days) are among his headliners for Saturday's show, so it should be a really good time. My assistant, Ashley, will be running a booth for us at Mike's show, so please do say "Howdy!" to Ashley if you have the chance to attend Mike's show.
Happy Collecting!

P. S. Our 50% off MADNESS! codeword sale is still in effect for you this weekend on all of our back issue
comics and magazines.
Only new comics, books, and non-comics items are excluded from the half price codeword sale. Included for you, however, are all of the 20,000+ back issues that Pam's inventory team has added into our
New-In-Stock and
Premium New-In-Stock
listings this week. So you know, I did also find a great grouping of the scarce
1980's Marvel G.I. JOE
issues for you in Jason St. on Wednesday (please keep in mind the codeword does not apply to new comics, trade paperbacks, hard covers, graphic novels, CGCs, treasury sized items, statues, or supplies). Pam told me that she would have them graded for you by this morning, so they should already be in New-in-stock for you today. If you do collect early issues of G.I. JOE, these are definitely some of the harder-to-find issues...
Just for fun, here are links for you to our most popular 25 G.I. JOE titles:
