Star Wars: Princess Leia #1 Arrives plus Sergio Aragones Star Wars #2 Howdy! Two long-awaited Star Wars comics will be released tomorrow. The first is STAR WARS: PRINCESS LEIA #1, and and the second is the very scarce STAR WARS (2015) #2 Sergio Aragones variant edition. We will have both of those editions available, as well as our own exclusive Mile High Comics STAR WARS: PRINCESS LEIA #1 variant edition, which features an exceptionally cool cover by Gabriele Del'Otto. You can order all of these issues through our back issue listings right now, and we will ship them to you tomorrow. Princess Leia #1 Mile High Releasing next week will be STAR WARS (2015) #3. We also have commissioned an exclusive Mile High Comics variant edition of this issue, featuring a very maniacal image of Emperor Palpatine, by Humberto Ramos. Greg and Mario in our new comics subscription department are still accepting pre-orders for our variant of issue #3 at $24.95 each through Friday. They will be priced at $29.95 on the day of release. Star Wars #2 Aragones As an aside, those of you who dabble in investing in back issues might be well-served by picking up some extra copies of any editions of STAR WARS (2015) #2 and #3. This is just a personal opinion on my part, but after having watched back issue comics pricing trends in the biz for 45 years, my instincts are telling me that the issues from #2-#10 are going to be the toughest to locate in the future. Especially after Episode VII releases on December 18th. I am setting aside more copies of these new Star Wars issues for future sales by Mile High Comics than any other new comics release since the 1980's. I did the same with STAR WARS: DARTH VADER #1, and it is now totally sold out from Marvel, with no second printing planned. Comics fandom is big, but worldwide, Star Wars fandom is much, much bigger... Darth Vader #1 In other news, Pam's weekly inventory report showed yet another solid gain in both the breadth and the depth of the comics stock we can offer you online.
