60% Off Codeword Ends Wednesday Howdy! Another brief newsletter today, as I have to continue my efforts to get our 6 million comics that have been stored in our 56th Ave. headquarters building over to their new home in our Jason St. Mega-Store. My work on Friday and Saturday went quite smoothly, with about 100,000 of our alphabetized Marvel singles being transferred on to the new shelving. It feels really good to finally have this Herculean relocation effort underway! I am also quite happy this morning because we had an extremely positive response to the 60% off MOVINGDAY! codeword sale that I announced at the end of last week. Response was so enthusiastic, in fact, that I have no choice but to prematurely end the 60% off sale, on Wednesday. Simply put, we received so many orders from fans wanting to take advantage of that extremely generous 60% off discount on most of our back issue comics and magazines that we instantly generated a two-week backlog in unfilled orders. I do not like making people wait an inordinate amount of time for their orders to ship, so I am going to curtail the codeword sale almost immediately. If you have already placed a MOVINGDAY! order with us, please be patient. We will work down our backlog as quickly as possible. Norrie Reynolds Representing the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire in San Francisco at a gala celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Imperial Court System My only other news for today is a plug for my good friend, Norrie Reynolds, who is in the running to be the next Empress of the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire, a Colorado 501-C3 charity of which I am an officer. Norrie is facing an uphill battle, as her opponent in the election has the powerful backing of the LGBTQ wing of the Colorado Democratic Party. That having been said, the ICRME encourages outreach to non-members during our elections, so it is perfectly acceptable for me to ask those of you who are over 16, and live in Colorado north of Castle Rock, to vote for Norrie. ICRME tradition is to also offer rewards for non-members to participate in the election, so I am offering a $50 store credit to anyone who votes for Norrie on March 19th.
