JUSTICE LEAGUE State Flag Variant Covers Now In Stock At All Stores Howdy! A couple of quick notes for you today about upcoming activities in our Mile High Comics retail stores. First, for a very limited time we have in stock for you this weekend all 53 of the stunning DC Comics State Flag variant editions to JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #1. Many of these flag variants are now sold out from DC, so we will not be able to reorder most of them. You can pick your choice of any states that you might wish at any one of our four Mile High Comics retail stores for only $10 each. With estimated print runs perhaps as low as only 5,000 copies each, we think that these State Flag variants are all going to be quite difficult (and expensive) to obtain in the very near future... The Combo Edition features a cover price of $4.99, rather than the $3.99 that is on the other 53 variants, as it is bagged with a link to the digital download version. More importantly, it has a yellow JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA logo rather than the white logo on the regular #1, which makes it a true 54th variant. That having been said DC chose to NOT include the Combo Variant Edition in the otherwise "complete" sets they created. I guess that I somewhat understand their rationale, but it should come as no surprise that the Combo Edition is already our #1 selling variant of the entire JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA (2013) #1 print run. All of the above having been said, it may turn out that we do not get our express delivery of our Combo Editions tomorrow. Even if they do not arrive, however, we will still be accepting pre-orders for them at all of our stores at the guaranteed fixed price of $20 per copy. Once next week rolls around, however, please be aware that our price for the Combo Edition may need to change. Especially as word gets around to all the folks who pre-ordered complete sets that they are still missing one key variant edition. Simply put, this could turn into quite a game of musical chairs, as we believe that the Combo Edition has the smallest overall print run (perhaps 3,000 copies?) of all the DC JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #1 variant editions.
