IRON MAN #9 Mile High Comics Variant Edition Ordering Begins Howdy! This has been a very productive week for all of us here at Mile High Comics. For starters, we have been steadily munching through the first of those nine huge pallets of back issue comics and magazines that I picked up for you on my latest comics buying trip to the East Coast. When I stopped by the main warehouse last evening after working at Jason St., Reese was using a cart to haul the last few boxes off of the first pallet over to his grading station. He should get most of those comics graded today, which means that at least 3,000 more excellent back issues will soon be available for you in our New-In-Stock and Premium New-In-Stock listings. We have added Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age comics of all kinds, as well as broad selections of darn near all titles from Marvel and DC, and large selections from Dark Horse, Image, Boom!, Zenoscope, IDW, Dynamite, Archie, Harvey, Dell, Gold Key, and Charlton. I will now move very quickly on a couple of important news notes. First, those of you who collect the extremely rare recent newsstand editions from Marvel and DC might want to take note that we are conducting an experiment this weekend, where we are listing just a few copies of each Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse newsstand edition from this past month at only $3 over cover price, which just about covers our cost of tracking them down. This is a very short term experiment, that we can only run through Monday... Second, we just received authorization to begin soliciting advance orders for our upcoming Mile High Comics variant cover edition of IRON MAN #9, which will ship in April, just before the release of the next IRON MAN movie. I cannot provide any specific details to you right now as to exactly why, but I seriously hope that you order not only this variant edition of #9, but also the regular edition. Trust me, the future will show you that you cannot possibly go wrong having too many copies of IRON MAN #9. My original plan had been to wait until these 53 different variant editions (each featuring a different state flag) of JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA (2013) #1 actually released, and then begin offering them on our website at a flat $10 each. That $10 price will still be the case as of Wednesday, but for the next five days we are going to let you order any of the 53 state variants that you might wish to own through our back issue website for just $4.99 each.
