The Lord of the Rings Museum Collection is a limited edition treasury of high quality, fully functional, movie prop reproductions from United Cutlery. Each piece is finished and distressed to precisely match the used and worn look of the actual movie prop. Each piece is individually hand-distressed, making no two alike. The Sting blade is tempered and hardened spring steel. Authentically engraved on the blade and cross guard are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say "Maegnas aen estar nin dagnir in yngyl im" which translates to "Maegnas is my name, I am the spider's bane." The hand guard and pommel are plated in genuine silver, authentically weathered and worn. The distressed hardwood grip features a hand-applied, silver vine onlay. Manufactured to be "light as a feather," Only 3,000 pieces of the Sting sword will be produced worldwide.
