It's 'lights out' at the Dum Dum Asylum for the mentally disturbed. Inmate Eddy gets a package. He placed the order from an ad in "The Amazing Broccoli Man" comic. Contained within is a brand, spankin', new "dynamic fusion" suit. Now he's ready. When lightening strikes the asylum, causing all the alarms to short out, Eddy makes his escape. He has 12 hours to save the world and return by 6 am when they open his cell. Each of the four chapters is the equivalent of one hour in real time (move over 24, make room for the original). The series can best be described in the authors own words: " I'd describe the first book as the first 4 hours of a 12 hour journey of discovery, redemption, insanity, Elvis bashing, mind control, and the quest for acceptance in an insane world."
