X-MEN (1963) (#1-113, UNCANNY X-MEN #114-544) (MARVEL) #360 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: X-Men (1963) #360
Professor X has disappeared after turning himself over to the U.S. government in the wakes of the events of the Onslaught and Zero Tolerance crises. Leaderless, the X-Men try to find their way in the world even though humans distrust them even more than before. Rogue, Storm, Marrow and Wolverine try to navigate the stormy gulf separating them from the federal government represented by National Security Adviser Valerie Cooper. But trust lost is not so easily recovered as they soon discover.

Also, someone is recruiting a brand new group of X-Men; new mutants such as The Grey King, Crux, Landslide, Chaos, Rapture and Mercury, and sending them out to round up ex-Excalibur members Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler and Colossus. Their brazen attempt to corral the three X-Men alums puts an ocean liner full of innocent tourists in danger. But as Kitty Pryde soon finds out, these new X-Men were not only recruited by, but also have the full support of, Professor X! "Children of the Atom" is written by Steve Seagle and drawn by Chris Bachalo. Cover by Carlos Pacheco.
