WEREWOLF BY NIGHT (1972) #18 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Werewolf by Night #18
"Murder by Moonlight" sets the tone for the midnight-black tale of mayhem and monsters. Mike Friedrich writes a tight little story around Don Perlin's pencils of two lycanthropes at each other's Throats in heat of downtown L.A. It begins with a flashback to the old country, Transylvania, and to Baron Russoff, the man cursed to become as a wolf by night. Flash forward to Jack Russell, his descendant, who also bears the evil spell. With Lt. Hackett of the LAPD close on his trail, Jack needs to play it cool though or he might just lose his freedom as well as his soul.

All would be well and good if the mysterious cartel known as the Committee would stop sending assassins his way. When one of those killers, Ma Mayhem, makes her move, Jack gets furry fast. But is that enough to save him from her silvery weapons or her ally, a werewolf just like Jack? The Committee's not going to quit pushing until something gives way. Don't miss the action in this one!
