WEIRD WONDER TALES (1973) #11 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Weird Wonder Tales #11
Bizarre and suspenseful tales of terror from Marvel's 1950s and early 1960s. To kick things off, listen to the story of "The Man Who Found Shangri-La." Drawn by Jack Kirby, it's the incredible tale of two brothers Paul, who is ambitious and adventuresome, and Harry, who is lazy and jealous. When Paul flies to Tibet to find the fabled city of peace, Shangra-La, Harry sees an opportunity to exploit and to rob its pacifist citizens. Following his brother, Harry forces him at gunpoint to take him to Shangra-La where he finds a murderous mob of miscreants. But where Harry sees evil inhabitants, Paul sees good, peaceful citizens. Such is the magic of Shangri-La (originally presented in Tales of Suspense #31).

Next, meet "The Clockmaker!" In a tale drawn by Steve Ditko (and originally presented in Strange Tales #96), a skilled craftsman gets paid handsomely for his precision work. But when his bookkeeper fails to keep an accurate record of his earnings, will he turn to murder? Or will the police make an even eerier discovery? Finally, in a tale first told in Strange Tales #76 and drawn by Kirby, a fiery alien claims "I Am Dragoom! The Flaming Invader!" Victor Cartwright is a producer who churns out junk sci fi and horror movies loved by the public but hated by the critics. But when a fiery giant arrived from another planet to rule the world, only Cartwright's movie magic could send him packing!
